Matthew Wilson, DPT, CSCS
Matthew Wilson, DPT, CSCS is a former NCAA DI middle distance runner, a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) and has his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Matthew's experience as a distance runner and educational background make him the first call my athletes make when an injury issue pops up.
Matthew joined Black Hills Orthopedic and Spine Center in 2021. He graduated with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The University of Iowa in 2020. Matthew received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science From South Dakota State University in 2018. He has interests in sports medicine, including running-related injuries, ACL rehabilitation, and overhead athlete rehabilitation, as well as joint replacement rehabilitation.
Matthew grew up in Rapid City and is a graduate of Rapid City Stevens High School. While at SDSU, he ran track for the Jackrabbits, competing as a middle-distance runner. In his free time, Matthew enjoys running, fly fishing, and spending time in the Black Hills.
