Justin Wrigley has been coaching for 24 years, all at Saint Thomas Aquinas high school in Overland Park, Kansas.

He has been the head cross country coach for 19 years and the head track & field coach for 11 years. Saints cross country teams have won 19 cross country state championships (10 boys, 9 girls) with 12 individual state champions, 7 Gatorade Kansas Runners of the Year and 2 top 5 NXR individuals, one finished 23rd at NXN and one did not get to race at NXN because of Covid (no national meet in 2021).

On the track, the Saints have won 4 team state championships (2 girls, 2 boys) and the distance runners have won 18 individual state titles and twelve 4x800m relay state titles (2 boys, 10 girls). With less than 900 students, Saint Thomas Aquinas has school records of 1:49, 4:11, 9:05, 14:50 for boys and 2:17, 5:02, 10:57 and 17:44 for girls.
