Chuck Schwartz (Air Academy, CO) was an accomplished collegiate distance runner at Adams State University, where he trained under legendary coach Dr. Joe Vigil. A first-year walk-on, Schwartz earned a spot on the team and went on to win an individual National Championship in the 3000m Steeplechase and earn All-American honors in Cross Country. He was also part of six National Championship teams in cross country and indoor and outdoor track.

Schwartz began his coaching career in 1994 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Since then, he has brought the same dedication, passion, and commitment to coaching that shaped his own athletic career.
